HEXODUS

Chosen Narrative: Question the rules in the fashion industry, and criticize how it dictates bodies. For a long time fashion has been used as a tool to convey body ideals.

Idea: Reintroduce fashion as a form of expression to share fantasy and dreams not body ideals. The hexagon shape is used in the narrative, to symbolise societal structure.

Book Cover Design: Represent the act of freeing the body from the rules of fashion, and the structure that it is in. Taken references from Jean-Paul GAULTIER’s trompe l’oeil blazer & Sun Ra’s jazz album covers.

Book Cover design based on a chosen complex narrative.
